Dust with a dry, soft cloth, and a dry soft brush for the folds and the face. For a mark, a barely damp cloth and nothing else — solvents, scouring creams and household sprays lift hand-painted detail and it cannot be repainted to match. The pearl finish sits on the surface, so wipe lightly and never rub. Keep it out of long direct sunlight, which fades the colours over the years. Made for indoors. If you want this figure for a garden or a grotto, ask us — pieces meant to stand outside are finished differently.

About this piece
St Joseph holding the Child on one arm and the lily in the other hand, in hand-painted resin with a pearl and glitter finish on the white robe. Four heights from 60 to 100 cm. A two-figure group, so allow it a little more width than a single standing statue.
The Gospels show Joseph almost always in relation to the child: protecting him, carrying him out of danger, losing him for three days in Jerusalem and finding him in the Temple. He taught him a trade. The image of the carpenter with the boy is the whole of what the Church knows about those years, and it has been enough.
