St Joseph
The carpenter of Nazareth, with the lily and with the Child.
About St Joseph
St Joseph is the saint of the household: the carpenter who protected the Holy Family, the patron of workers and fathers, and of a happy death. His statue suits a kitchen, a workshop, a school or the side altar of a parish named for him — and there are many in Ireland.
Choose him with the lily alone, or carrying the Child Jesus; in painted resin for indoors, or carved marble for a church niche or a garden.
